Bill Elliott's 1983 Daytona 500 Thunderbird |
|
Built by Eddie Bass
This is Elliott's 1983 Thunderbird that was run in the Daytona 500.
The decals had no name but looked like they were caddy, the body was used from a rookie combo. The chassis and interior body are painted gray, the body was sprayed white then followed by red.(you know what happens when you spray white before red-you get pink). I have noticed that the actual car that ran daytona had a white rear bumper cover instead of red, so with this car i painted it white instead of red.If you are building a later version of this car then the rear bumper should be painted red.
